Tokyo Steel hikes scrap prices continuously

After the price hike in two days ago, Tokyo Steel decided to increase purchase prices of scrap further in its five subsidiaries by ￥1,000/ton today. 

After the new price hike, the purchase prices of H2 scrap in Okayama are at ￥41,000~￥40,500/ton; that in Kyushu plant is at ￥40,000/ton; that in Takamatsu plant is at ￥38,500/ton; that in Tahara plant is at ￥39,500/ton~￥40,000/ton and that in Utsunomiya is at ￥39,500/ton. 

Meanwhile, it’s known that Tokyo Steel has moved up the prices by ￥1,500~￥2,000/ton within a week.
