Lingyuan Iron & Steel raises steel prices

Reportedly, China’s Lingyuan Steel & Steel announced the new price policy for domestic market on February 16th, 2011. The company has decided to increase the prices by RMB60/ton averagely.

After the adjustment, the prices of construction carbon steel with diameter of 50mm~80mm have increased by RMB60/ton to reach RMB5, 210/ton; that of pipe billet with diameter of 50mm~100mm has soared by RMB60/ton to RMB5,240/ton.

Meanwhile, the prices of common carbon steel products with diameter 22mm~25mm have remained unchanged RMB4,760/ton.

The above prices include tax and will become effective from February 16th, 2011.
