Australia’s coking coal prices drop for consecutive two weeks

Reportedly, Australia’s coking coal prices have dropped for consecutive two weeks.

According to analysts, the prices of hard prime coking coal from Australia sold for AUD318.25/ton, down by 2.1% in comparison of AUD325/ton in the week before.

Analyst indicated that the prices of thermal coal from South Africa, site of the continent’s biggest export facility for the fuel have decreased by 5% averagely to AUD 114.89/ton, which was the lowest prices since December 17th.
